Making the world a better place to live sits at the heart of Natural & Organic Products Europe.

Held in the city of innovation, London, IFE, International Food & Drink Event, brings together an immersive and interactive event taking place on 20-22 March 2023 at ExCeL London. Over the three days, IFE will welcome 25,000 key industry professionals to come and sample the latest products, develop their knowledge on the trends affecting the food and drink sector and network face-to-face with suppliers.  

Plant Based World connects and empowers businesses within the global supply network to successfully develop, source and distribute plant-based products.

My current research is on the application of computer technology including AI/machine learning to reduce animal exploitation and cruelty. Current projects include AI to support microalgae production, data analysis re the cognitive dissonance of meat eating, social media for vegan transition, transnational study of adoption and barriers, and others related to health and environment.

Finally, after a long 2 years…...

They will be hosting 70 stalls serving delicious homemade food, healthy drinks, selling quirky clothes and accessories, and speaking to you about their inspiring charities.

They will have special guest speakers to engage with you their work and views along with educational documentaries about how our food choices effect our environment, health, and animal welfare.

The Vegan Society has made a formal complaint to ITV after a taste-testing segment on This Morning failed to address the environmental impact of dairy milk, despite criticising the impact of plant milks. 

I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Essex, and currently finishing my thesis on rethinking sociology in light of “the animal challenge”, with a focus on developing a processual approach to (multispecies/interspecies) sociality. My research is situated within Critical Animal Studies, and I am committed to vegan principles. I completed my MA at Maynooth University, and BA at The University of Essex.

I was able to gain experience in qualitative as well as quantitative methods, and my research interests include: Environmental Sociology, Human-Animal Relations, Process Thought (A.N Whitehead), and Social Theory. I have previously taught at the University College London and The University of Essex.
