Research Day is an event dedicated to showcasing vegan research. This year we will be livestreaming the full event from The University of Manchester.
In honour of The Vegan Society's 80th anniversary, the theme for this year's Research Day is 'Vegan Pasts, Presents and Futures'. You will see presentations focusing on the history of veganism and animal activism, the current issues affecting veganism and what the future may have in store for us.
You can expect to gain knowledge and insight into research on nutrition, history, animal ethics, culture, the climate crisis and more.
The livestream is open to all and will run continuously throughout the conference, beginning at 10.00 and finishing at 17.00. All of the presentations on our programme will be livestreamed.
