Vegan Fairs return to Stroud for their bi-annual Vegan Market in the Corn Hill market site. For their Summer edition Vegan Fairs are very excited to be a part of the famous Stroud Food and Drink Festival.

I am a MSc student in Biosocial Medical Anthropology. My current research interest is how veganism as a body technique is perceived and practiced in Morocco. This mixed methods research will have fieldwork (participatory observation and interview) conducted in Fez, Morocco. It focuses on how the discourse of modernity get under the skin in the form of veganism, representing itself as a heath and ethical project in a post-colonial Islamic society. I have done library-based writing on the practice of veganism as ethics and body technique, which contributes to the formation of moral subjects by enforcing relatedness across borderlines of bodies.

After Vegan Fairs first outdoor vegan market in Cheltenham in April earlier this year, they return to The Promenade for a summer special.

They will have a range of traders selling everything from the tastiest vegan street-food through to homemade bakes and cakes. As well as a number of non-food items like ethical fashion brands, cruelty-free skincare, homeware items and much more.
