The Vegan Society is pleased to have sponsored Patrick Adu, a Ghanaian chef in his father's vegan restaurant in Accra, to attend last year's 41st International Vegetarian Union (IVU) World VegFest and 6th Asian Vegetarian Congress in Malaysia (3-7 October 2013). Patrick and his father Nathan are two of the key organisers of the 42nd IVU World VegFest in Ghana this October. Just like organising the Olympics, lessons learned and ideas gained in one place will be applied to this year’s event in Africa.
