World Food Day annually falls on October 16, people around the world will be gathering to discuss food-related themes. On the eve of WFD Slow Food Birmingham along with Eat Make Play invite you to join and grapple with the issue of how we can repair a broken food system: How we can maintain food dignity whilst repairing broken food system. Following the discussion we invite you eat with us, and help create a list of groups in Birmingham who are actively working to solve our food crisis. This will be for the benefit of all our community groups so we have a base to start collaborations (as together we are stronger) and also a place for people who want to volunteer can have a starting point. This list will be accessible on the Slow Food Birmingham website.
