Bristol Vegfest is the UK's biggest vegan event and is not to be missed! The weekend long show features entertainment throughout the day and long in to the evening.
During the daytime there will be over 150 stalls with a massive selection of vegan products for you to buy as well as the opportunity to grab yourself £20 worth of vegan gear with one of our FREE goodie bags. All you have to do is pick up a stamp card from us or our participating Vegan Trademark holders and then make five purchases to receive five stamps. See more on how to win here.
As well as that, expect vegan caterers with food from around the world, an all day licensed bar and a variety of kids activities with a performance stage for live music.
As always, Vegfest will be bringining us a jam-packed schedule of talks on a huge range of topics including nutrition, health, lifestyle and campaigns, plus lots of cookery demos and film screenings throughout the day.
- At 12pm on Saturday, our very own Senior Campaigns Officer, Andrea Speranza will be delivering a 20 minute workshop on how you can spread the word about veganism, including simple tools to start or support a campaign.
- At 6pm on Saturday CEO Jasmijn de Boo will be running a Q&A session on the direction and governance of The Vegan Society.
- At 12.30pm on Sunday, Our Volunteer Manager, Alex Douglas, and one of our dedicated volunteers, Dean Bracher, will be running a 20 minute volunteer workshop with information on how you can get involved and make a difference.
- At 3pm on Sunday, Friend of The Vegan Society, Katy Beskow (a.k.a 'Little Miss Meat Free') will be cooking up a storm showing you how you can utilize your blender for more than just smoothies. Come along to learn how to add some excitement to your home cooking and you might even win your own high speed Froothie blender in partnership with The Vegan Society!
The evenings will see the harbourside come alive with guest DJs including DJ Luminous, Wonderpig, idiotech and Ian Silk.
Admission to the event is by payment on the gate only. Entrance costs just £3 before 5pm, £5 after 5pm and kids under 16 go free!
