Around 40 members of The Vegan Society came to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 30th of November 2013. The atmosphere in the room was fantastic, fuelled with positive energy and the flow of ideas.
Highlights from the day included a talk by Roxy Shahidi, a Dr Frey Ellis Memorial Lecture, and a never-before-seen sneak preview of our new website. Proposals for resolution were discussed and voted on and a number of key motions were passed.
The Vegan Society’s AGM is the perfect opportunity to meet our staff and volunteers, enjoy some free vegan treats, generously donated by our Trademark holders, and hear more about what the Society has planned. Whether you’ve been a member for years or are completely new to The Vegan Society, you will receive a very warm welcome from all of us.
