We're proud to be supporting Veganuary again for 2023!
Veganuary is the global pledge to try vegan for 31 days. This year, Veganuary saw an even bigger increase in 2022, more than 629,000 people worldwide signed up to try vegan and more than 800 new vegan products were launched for Veganuary.
Veganuary predict even more numbers of people signing up and getting involved for 2023 and we are collectively encouraging everyone who cares about climate change to take part this January. Together, we can take climate action into our own hands.
FAQs
Veganuary is a UK non-profit organization that promotes veganism by encouraging people to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. It started in 2014 and has grown rapidly since then, with over 580,000 people from 209 countries taking part worldwide in 2021. Veganuary offer daily email support to participants, helping them to successfully complete a vegan month. Participants aim to only eat vegan food and also not to buy any non-vegan clothes, cosmetics or other items during the month. The Vegan Society became an official Veganuary partner in 2020 and is partnering with them again in 2023.
When you click the sign-up button on this page you will be re-directed to our partner page on Veganuary’s website. There you will be asked for some basic info (e.g., name and email address) in order to sign-up. Veganuary will then send you an email every day for the month of January, to help you successfully complete the challenge. These emails include recipe ideas, shopping tips, health and environmental info and lots of encouragement! You can also opt-in to receive a monthly newsletter from The Vegan Society that includes recipes, updates on our work, and useful tips on how to thrive as a vegan. Veganuary has a new podcast series which launches on 1 January alongside a new 31-day YouTube series, both designed to offer people additional ways to participate along with the 31 daily coaching emails they receive when they sign-up. 2023 participants will also receive a new one-pot meal plan to help make meals cheaper and quicker, as well as an updated celebrity e-cookbook featuring recipes from Alicia Silverstone, Venus Williams, Joanna Lumley, John Bishop and Dr Jane Goodall.
