I am a social psychologist, and my research interests primarily focus on intergroup relations, stereotypes, and prejudices. In the context of veganism, I am particularly interested in the social perception of vegans and the relationships between vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters. I am also especially drawn to the topic of masculinity in relation to veganism – my doctoral dissertation explored the gender-biased social perception of vegetarians and vegans. I have experience in conducting qualitative, quantitative, and experimental research, with a particular affinity for approaches that emphasize the agency of research participants in the research process.
