Mari-Liis Sepper is one of the leading experts on gender equality and equal treatment in Estonia with more than 15 years of experience. From 2010 to 2015 Mari-Liis Sepper acted as the Gender Equality and Equal Treatment Commissioner (the National Equality Body in Estonia). From 2013 to 2015 she was the member of the Executive Board of EQUINET, a network of European National Equality Bodies.
She has extensive experience in working with women's groups, LGBTQI and disability rights organisations. Since 2017 she collaborates with the Estonian Vegan Society and provides legal counseling for vegans in human rights and discrimination cases.
