Vegan Society CEO Jasmijn de Boo to move on
Following over four and a half years as CEO of The Vegan Society, Jasmijn de Boo has decided to move on. Council very much appreciates Jasmijn's significant contribution to the society over her time as CEO - particularly through successful campaigns and increased media impact - and we wish her well in the future.
Council are pleased to announce that George Gill is taking up the post of CEO for the society. George has been Head of Business Development since 2009 during which time he has delivered substantial and consistent growth which has provided a solid foundation for the society's recent expansion. George will retain overall responsibility for the Business Development department in addition to his new role.
Up until mid-June George, as incoming CEO, will have the valuable support of the outgoing CEO, Jasmijn de Boo, who will also continue to represent the society on key projects to give a smoother transition.
