Are you under 26? Do you want to help create a more vegan future?

We want to amplify the voices of young people in the vegan community. That is why we are offering people aged under 26 the opportunity to join The Vegan Society for free.

As a thank you for joining, you will get:

  • Over 100 discounts currently offered to our members by third parties on cosmetics, restaurants, clothing and much more including 10% off our own supplement, VEG 1, 20% off at Love Raw and The Body Shop and 10% off at Holland & Barrett.
  • A digital subscription to The Vegan magazine.
  • A chance to shape the future of the society with the right to vote in our AGM.

By joining you will support our work and help us to keep on creating a more vegan world. We will do this by lobbying for vegan friendly policies, labelling products as vegan with the Vegan Trademark (65,000 to date), conducting pioneering research and providing vegan specific nutrition and legal guidance.

Parental consent required

As the youth member is aged under 13 years old, parental consent is required to create their membership. The contact details on this form need to be the details of the parent or guardian so that all communications from The Vegan Society are sent to them.

You must be under 26 to apply for our youth membership. To apply for our full membership please visit our main membership form.

Voting rights

The Vegan Society welcomes everyone. Only those who follow a vegan diet are eligible to vote at our AGM and any EGM. By selecting ‘yes’ above you will be classed as a member of The Vegan Society with voting rights and your name and address will appear on the register of members available to public inspection. If you choose ‘no’, you will not be entitled to voting rights and your name and address will be kept private, but all other benefits remain the same.

Communication preferences

Please note: if you opt out of any of the contact methods above, we can still contact you if there is a specific problem with your membership and to send you the components of your membership such as membership card and copy of The Vegan (for paper-based members). You can opt out of all communications at any time by contacting us through the members’ area, emailing membership[at]vegansociety[dot]com, calling us on 0121 523 1730 or writing to us at Donald Watson House, 21 Hylton St, Birmingham B18 6HJ.
