Matthew is half Welsh and half English. He graduated in 2018 from the University of Bristol with an undergraduate degree in Law. As part of Matthew's final year studies, he produced groundbreaking research in veganism and law. He was the treasurer of the Animal Law Society of the University of Bristol and the Student Liaison for the International Rights Network. Matthew has since undertaken pro bono work as a tribunal advocate for disabled people on behalf of a legal charity in Bristol and has completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction. Matthew is a trainee solicitor at a law firm in central Bristol.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys travelling, cooking, music and live comedy.
