We’ve spoiled you with this one … overnight oats, six ways!
Ingredients
(1 serving)
- ½ cup medium oats
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 cup soya milk
- 150 ml orange juice, to serve
Flavours
Carrot cake
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- 50 g grated carrot
- 25 g crushed walnuts
- 25 g golden sultanas
Berries
- ½ tsp vanilla seed essence
- 30 g raspberries
- 30 g blueberries
- 30 g strawberries, sliced
- 30 g blackberries (you can use frozen berries for this)
- 25 g pumpkin seeds
Peach melba
- ½ tsp vanilla seed essence
- 50 g diced tinned peach
- 50 g raspberries
- 25 g pumpkin seeds
Chocolate brownie
- 1 tsp cacao powder
- 25 g crushed hazelnuts
- 50 g ready-cooked beetroot, grated
- 25 g pumpkin seeds
- 1 tsp agave syrup or maple syrup
Banana
- ½ tsp vanilla seed essence
- ½ banana, peeled and diced
- 25 g golden sultanas
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 25 g crushed walnuts
Apple pie
- ½ tsp vanilla seed essence
- 50 g tinned apples
- 25 g golden sultanas
- 25 g toasted almonds
Method
- Mix the porridge oats, chia seeds and soya milk together in a jar or container. Add your chosen flavours into the mix and combine thoroughly. Leave overnight in the fridge for a healthy breakfast. Serve with orange juice.
