Grant summary: Our project was about creating awareness of veganism in relation to the protection of out environment. We used the grant to pay for a spot on a local radio programme and to hire in room in which to conduct workshops on veganism.
Quote from Organiser: “Today few young people understand that veganism can be among the solutions to the environmental problem facing the whole planet. We wanted to help more than 1000 young people to understand the danger of environmental deterioration but also how veganism is an effective solution. The young people of Burundi were led to understand that this world belongs to them in the same way as other young people in America or Germany and that everyone must commit to protecting the environment.”
