Young Person's Guide to Being Vegan

If you feel you’re struggling a little, why not try out our free Pledge scheme where you can sign up to go vegan for a week, fortnight or a month. Both being healthy and enjoying your food is really important so check out these two links to our website on nutrition and tasty recipes – there’s SO much to choose from. Alternatively, simply ‘google’ your favourite dish with “vegan” in front and recipes usually appear e.g. vegan macaroni cheese.

The Vegan Society’s magazine comes out 4x a year and is FREE to members. If you’d like to support our work and get 4 free magazines a year, our membership costs less than 58p/month (£7/year) – that’s a special rate for under 18 year olds! We can get a Vegan Society Speaker to come into your school class/group for FREE, and let your friends know the facts about veganism. We can deliver sessions on issues and subjects from English to cookery demonstrations. If you’d like to have this, wing us an email and we’ll drop you a hand-out explaining it all in the post to give to your teacher. Easy.
