Requesting leaflets and booklets for events
Which materials to request?
Leaflets are most suitable for displaying on stalls and handing out at events, when recipients are more likely to read a concise summary than detailed information.
Booklets are best to use when people have shown a particular interest, for example when they have approached a stall to ask for information or are attending a talk. These people are much more likely to read a full booklet.
If you are organizing a stall or event in the UK we can send you up to 150 leaflets and 50 booklets free of charge. To request materials, please email info@vegansociety.com with your postal address, the date of your event, the type of event, its subject or theme and/or roughly how many people you expect to attend. Please state which booklets and leaflets you would like.
Donations
There is no set charge for leaflets and booklets but you are welcome to make a donation towards printing and postage costs.
To print and post leaflets and booklets, it costs The Vegan Society:
Within the UK:
£6.50 to print and post 50 booklets
£9.50 to print and post 150 folded leaflets (Recipes, Eggs and Dairy, Feel good in your own skin, Global food security)
£4.50 to print and post 150 single sheet leaflets (Why Vegan, Right to life and freedom, Vegan Pledge)
Larger orders need to be sent by courier, which costs £8 within the UK.
To other European countries:
£7 to print and post 125 single sheet leaflets
£11 to print and post 250 single sheet leaflets

Vegan Catering Guide for hospitals and care homes
The two catering booklets are designed to be used by professional caterers and establishments to help them provide vegan food.
Vegan Catering for All is a general guide which is great for restaurants and cafes, and the Vegan Catering Guide for Hospitals and Care Homes is ideal for any establishment needing to produce nutritious food on a budget.
Contact us for free copies of Vegan Catering for All to give to restaurants and cafes in your area and encourage them to cater for vegans!
If you or a vegan friend or relative has a stay in hospital coming up or is in a care home, request the Vegan Catering Guide for Hospitals and Care Homes to pass on to the catering manager of the hospital or care home.
