Basic vinaigrette dressing
200ml (7floz) cold-pressed olive oil
100ml (4floz) cider vinegar
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
fresh chopped herbs – optional
crushed garlic – optional
Mix thoroughly in a screw top jar. Serves 8.
